We have arrived after too many hours on the bus to count. To break up the bus ride we stopped at Cal Berkley for some shopping and to look at the game between Cal and Southern Mississippi. The home team should have won but lost in the last minute 80 to 78. Everyone had a great time though and bought heaps off Cal gear and ate heaps of hot dogs...again.
We also found the link from our television interview. It is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMkMdqVe1X4
That is Part 2 which features Stephen, Andrew and myself. Part 1 is available when viewing this link and that features Stephen and Coach Powers (College of Siskiyous Head Coach).
Enjoy and have a laugh.
You guys spoke very well. Bit of a "hoot" though with the way the change-over from Andrew to Jamie occurred and the tapping of the table being amplified by the microphone.

Congrats on a fabulous effort in Mt Shasta. Enjoy a few days in San Fran and get some sleep. Happy shopping boys. The Joyces
ReplyDeleteTo add to Graeme's post - thoroughly enjoyed the TV segment - beginning to get the picture about why there may have been a customs 'hiccup'! If any of the Mt Shasta basketballers or families are following the blog - thank you for your warm welcome and hospitality towards the Aussie contingent. The boys have had a wonderful time.

Congratulations to the basketball coaches for representing Basketball at CGS so well and particularly to the Director of Sport for representing sport at CGS! Jamie, your interactions with the interviewer seemed spot on and I have the school should be proud of how well represented it was.
ReplyDeleteWell done to all..
